With Solihull Blood Bikes
The unsung hero's of life saving came to Long Marston Ladies for the July meeting.
The Blood Bikers from Warwickshire and Solihull area touched the hearts of the ladies with the amazing work they do.
Jon and Chris, a husband and wife team, explained how everyone is an unpaid volunteer with no government backing.
They go from local hospitals and nationwide if they are needed, carring not only blood but breastfeeding milk to special baby units, urgent medication and other life saving supplies.
A bring and buy and donations raised over £400 on the evening for this very worthy charity.
