Maureen Beckett, former Mayor of Stratford opened up a hidden secret about Canada Geece in the September meeting of Long Marston Ladies.
The Goose problem was over taking Stratford with mess. A chance meeting on an aeroplane of a man who knew how to control them lead to him spending time in Stratford explaining how.
So for several years they were herded out of town by boats and many volunteers until there just small numbers remaining. This is monitored so we don't become overrun again.
A fascinating talk left Ladies amazed at such things happening we knew nothing of. All done very humanely.
