Alcatraz to Ice with Neil Curtis
October meeting Neil Curtis, explained in the most humorous way how a mid life crisis got out of control.
These thoughts turned to reality as he swam from Alcatraz to San Francisco, questioning the great escape in June 1962.
Things escalated from there leading him to start ice water swimming, which he mastered and became a bronze medal winner. A very entertaining evening with video made for a lovely evening.
We have yet to see if any Long Marston ladies are inspired to follow suit!
